Healthy Families Practitioner - maternity cover (City & Hackney)
1.0 fte (£23,391 per annum) plus up to 6% matched pension contribution
Fixed term contract to 31 January 2021
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced practitioner for the Best Start with HENRY Healthy Families service in City and Hackney. This role will provide universal and targeted lifestyle support to families who have children 0-5 years supporting them in providing the best start in life and a brighter future.
Building supportive and collaborative relationships with parents and carers, helping families gain confidence, reduce stress, and encourage a healthy and active family lifestyle will be a primary objective. You will provide outreach to communities who might not otherwise have access to services and link with community partners to coordinate programmes. You will also engage with internal and external colleagues to deliver services, including groups and workshops as well as collect data to better understand the needs of local families, increasing the effectiveness of the service.

This position will work in community sites across City and Hackney in London. This is a temporary contract to cover maternity leave.
