Volunteer Coordinator (Healthy Start Mentors) - Reaching Communities, Leeds

Starting salary £23,391 pro rata plus up to 6% matched pension contribution
Minimum 15 hours per week (actual salary £9,356)
Fixed term to 31 August 2020

Working Together for a Healthy Start is a project funded by the National Lottery through the National Lottery Community Fund. HENRY is working in partnership with Leeds City Council and Sheffield City Council to improve the lives of children aged 0-5 who are at risk of obesity. The project recruits and trains volunteers as Healthy Start Mentors who deliver the HENRY Healthy Families 1-to-1 programme with local families.

We are seeking a highly skilled and committed coordinator with experience of working with parents or families to provide support and/or training. Working closely with children’s centres and local community groups, you will lead on the recruitment of HENRY Healthy Start Mentor volunteers in Leeds and support them to deliver the HENRY Healthy Families 1-to-1 programme in Leeds.
