Best Foot Forward: Stepping up to a healthy start
HENRY and First Steps Nutrition Trust hosted a joint conference in November 2018.
About the conference
Best Foot Forward: Stepping up to a healthy start focused on ‘what works’ to tackle childhood obesity in the early years and provided a varied day of expert talks and practical sessions with lots of food for thought and resources to support practitioners in their work.
The conference was aimed at health visitors, public health practitioners and commissioners, those working in public health in government and in local authorities and all those interested in how we ensure that infancy and the early years are not forgotten in tackling the childhood obesity crisis. Over 240 delegates attended the conference from many different fields.
We hope that everyone enjoyed the day and felt inspired to continue offering support to policy makers and families to ensure our infants and young children get the best possible start in life. Many thanks to all our speakers, chairs, trustees, stand holders, helpers and delegates for making the conference such a success.
