If you’re pregnant or have a child under 4 years old, you may eligible to receive a NHS Healthy Start prepaid card, which provides free support to buy healthy food, milk, and vitamins. 

This card can be used in supermarkets and retailers across the UK to buy:

✅ Plain liquid cow’s milk
✅ Fresh, frozen, and tinned fruit and vegetables
✅ Fresh, dried, and tinned pulses
✅ Infant formula milk based on cow’s milk

Who Can Apply

You may qualify for the NHS Healthy Start if you:

• Are at least 10 weeks pregnant or have a child under 4 years old
• Receive certain benefits or tax credits
• Meet the income eligibility criteria
