Support in Pregnancy: Helping you to develop a close and loving relationship with your baby

Support in Pregnancy

Our friendly team is here to help with practical and emotional support, however you plan on feeding your baby.

Have a question?

We have a dedicated infant feeding helpline, staffed by our local practitioners (0207 961 9073) who can offer phone and video support Monday to Friday 9-5p and Saturdays 9-2pm.

Antenatal Workshop - Preparing to Feed my Baby

Come and meet our Early Infant Feeding team and join our free antenatal workshop which explores how to get feeding off to a great start, however you choose to feed your baby - breast/bottle/mixed.

We run this workshop weekly as a 2-hour online or face-to-face workshop. Please book using this dedicated booking platform.

We will look at:

  • What to expect in the first few weeks with your new baby
  • What can I do, so I'm ready to feed my baby?
  • How to get feeding off to a good start
  • Top tips to help you develop a close and loving relationship with your baby
  • Why self-care is so important
  • Where to get support whatever stage you are at with feeding your baby.

Get in touch with the team to book your place, once you have found a suitable date on our calendar.

Antenatal programmes for local families

Would you like to explore pregnancy, birth and life with a new baby in more detail? We offer a six week online programme for local families to share ideas and questions alongside other local families.

Each week we’ll cover a different topic relating to family life including:

  • Growth and development in the womb

  • Birth and what to expect

  • Getting feeding off to a good start

  • Looking after ourselves and our baby

  • Caring for a newborn

  • Bonding with baby

During the programme, you'll receive a free HENRY toolkit which includes lots of helpful resources to use in your family. Get in touch for more information or take a look at our leaflet

Programmes start each half term and run on weekday evenings or on Saturday mornings.
