HENRY Healthy Families Programmes and Workshops in Bradford

If you have children under 4 and live in the Better Start area (Bowling & Barkerend, Bradford Moor and Little Horton), HENRY offers a range of free groups and activities to help you create healthy lifestyle habits.

• Virtual 8 week HENRY Group available in English or Urdu
• 1-to-1 Programmes (which can be delivered with an interpreter)
• Virtual 1 hour Workshops, such as:
  • Cooking for a Better Start

• Group programme 
  Everyone wants the best for their children, but it can be hard to know what to do as a parent in the early years. The group programme provides everything you need to help get your little one off to a great start and covers: parenting confidence, physical activity, what children and families eat, family lifestyle habits and enjoying life as a family. As well as receiving a free HENRY toolkit, including children's books, a ball and a range of helpful resources, we can also offer FREE creche spaces for your little ones Click here to find programmes near you
• 1-to-1 programme
  Some parents find it more difficult to attend a group - maybe due to language needs, disability or lacking confidence. We can cover all the key themes from the group programme through a 1-to-1 approach, where we can explore the topics at your own pace.
