Core Training - In-Person

Below are links to the online forms and copies of other paperwork needed to set up and run HENRY In-Person Core Training.

Please complete this form before the training.  This will create the training ID that is used on all the review forms for this course.

At the end of Day 1, participants are given a short paper review form.  This is an opportunity for trainers to find out whether there are any issues that it would be helpful to address on Day 2.

At the end of Day 2, participants complete an online review form

Participants can also scan the QR code poster to access the online review form.  Copies of this poster will be provided in the red folder.  Please write the Area code and Training ID on the final flipchart as participants will need this to complete the review form. In the future participants will also receive a link directly via email from Arlo.

Please complete this form after the final day of the training, reflecting on the course as a whole.

At the end of each day, trainers go through the five stage feedback process together.  After Day 2, trainers may prefer to do this in a separate telephone call if traveling.

Please complete this form within 3 days of the training.  You will be asked to record the number of participants who completed the training.  If a participant only attends one day, please do not include them in the number of attendees and flag this up on the paper attendance register, which should be returned to national office with the red folder.

This document may be a useful starting point, however, we encourage trainers to agree their own split when preparing for the training.

  • Health inequalities quiz – local data

When exploring the health inequalities quiz at the start of Day 1, many trainers find it helpful to include some local data as it helps participants to see the relevance for their own work.  You can find the latest local obesity, oral health and breastfeeding initiation data here: https://fingertips.phe.org.uk/profile/child-health-profiles

Information regarding each area/organisation that we deliver training to can be found in the area information page in the trainer hub.

Certificates should be in red folder for the course, but more can be printed from here as required.

This document includes the information that is sent to participants through Arlo prior to the training. The location details are sent as part of the reminders sent 14, 7 and 1 day prior to the start of the course.
